Dear Soul, The road today may have seemed steep...you feel alone. Someone that you put your faith in, has disappointed you. God sees your tears. He feels your pain. Put your faith in Him. He won't disappoint you. He longs to comfort you, to wrap His arms around you if you lean into Him, for He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. God loves you so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die in your place to forgive you of all of your sins (past, present and future). You may think "Oh, not my sins. They are too great. You don't know what I have done." You may feel you are the greatest sinner, but don't be disheartened, for He said "for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Matthew 9:13) His shed blood will wash and cleanse you from your sins, He took your sins and nailed them to Calvary, feeling the wrath of God for us, so that we who put our trust in Him will be justified. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1) He was buried and rose again. Death had lost its sting, and victory was gained. Dear sinner, we have all sinned. You have sinned, and so have I. We have all fallen short of His commandments. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) Precious soul, if you were to die tonight, where will you spend eternity? In your heart, do you believe you will be carried into the presence of the Lord, or will your soul be in torment, feeling the hopelessness of life hereafter in the lake of Fire, with no hope of being comforted? My hope is that you will know for a certainty that you will be in the presence of the Lord, if your soul is required tonight. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) If you wish to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior will you pray with me? "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner on my way to Hell. I know that I have no hope in myself. I repent of my sins, and show this by turning away from them, and walking to You in faith, as my Lord and Savior. I trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse me from my sins. I believe that you were buried, and that you arose again as You have said. I am trusting you to take me home to be with You in heaven. I now accept You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving my soul. In Jesus' name, Amen."
