I see a lot of posts complaining about boyfriends and husbands and it just makes me thankful that I am married to my best friend. I figured maybe I would just make an ongoing list here and add to it as time goes on. Then we he drives me crazy (as husbands tend to do) I can come back, review, and be thankful.
- 1. He is a GREAT dad!
- 2. He works hard, long hours so I can stay at home.
- 3. He tells me I am pretty even when I haven't slept, showered, or even gotten out of bed.
- 4. He goes to buy me nachos at 10 o'clock at night- even when I'm not preggers.
- 5. He tells me things will be ok, even when I figure he must not be so sure.
- 6. He gets me McDonald's ice cream cones when he goes to get gas.
- 7. He lets me sleep in on his days off.
- 8. He gets my toothbrush ready for me at night.
- 9. He brings me my vitamin every night at dinner.
- 10. He sends me sweet text messages.
- 11. On days when I babysit a lot of kids, he slways calls and asks, "what do you want for dinner?", so he can pick it up on his way home from work.
- 12. He has tea parties with our girls.
- 13. He puts gas in my van for me.
- 14. He charges my cell phone before I get a chance to do it.
- 15. He emails me facts and trivia about our favorite movies.
To be continued...

A Boy with Autonomic Dysfunction - The Miller Family
Our Special Life
Oliver was born after having suffered a stroke while in his mother's womb. The resulting brain injury is called Dysautonomia (Autonomic Dysfunction). His doctors believe the stroke was the result of the miscarriage of his twin. Oliver is completely blind and his underdeveloped brain stem makes basic physical functions a challenge. In spite of all this, he is a happy, go-lucky, 12-year-old boy, and his mom wants people to meet the real Oliver, not just his medical hardships.
