Before buying a cat or dog from a pet store, please, please, please read this!

For 13 years, I had a little Chihuahua named Catalina. She finally died of old age and for the next 3 years, I had searched and searched for another small or toy dog, but, since money is tight for me, I couldn't find one I could afford and if you check the shelters here in Florida, you'll soon discover that little dogs are VERY popular here and they go FAST! I have a personal issue with buying puppies from pet stores and would not even consider it due to my feelings and the fact that I will not pay $1400 for a dog...Just me. Well, here in the last month one of my husband's co-workers suggested checking out a rescue organization. We did so; and found a one year old white Chihuahua that had been abandoned in a Miami parking lot and left with mange. We brought her home last week and she fits so well with our family! We named her Bianca. We love her so much! She had SUCH a rough start, but she is my beautiful little princess now! In my opinion, she is even more special to me, because we made a huge difference in her life! As long as there is still a breath in me, this little girl will never want for anything ever again. Attached are pics of what she looked like when they found her in October and one we took today. Please DO NOT buy a dog or cat from a pet store! Instead, adopt a rescued animal that needs a good loving forever home! Thanx for reading this!
