Embarrassing!

Wow....lets start with that! 

Its the beginning of  a New Year ladies & what do we all want to do??? Lose weight right? So yesterday my hubby & I went grocery shopping, not the usual grocery shopping..healthy shopping. We bought tons of produce for  these salads I swore I will start eating EVERYDAY! Lots of fruit, blueberries for my bran cereal & yogurt!

I couldnt wait to wake up today & have a nice breakfast & nice HUGE salad for lunch! Followed by lots of water..we need that H2O dont we ladies?!

Well my morning went like this : woke up around 7:30 changed Thomas' diaper fed him his morning bottle, had my breakfast. Had tummy time & laughed together (my fave part of the morning, he's full of laughs after breakfast). Put him down for a nap. Did the dishes, cleaned up the rest of the house. Folded laundry (my least fave)....Oh man I istill have to put it away!

Early afternoon: had that fantastic salad..yummy! Im doing so good, healthy breakfast, healthy lunch...Im on a roll (little did I know it would be literal later) Thomas woke from his nap & fed him his Bottle then put something lightweight on him to head out for our stroll around the neighborhood!

Here we go..got him all snug in the stroller, hat & shades: check!  Water: check! Cell phone & house keys:check! Rollerblades are on & we are ready to go!

Beautiful day today, around 75 degrees...gotta love Arizona winters ;) SO we head out the door, down the driveway & out on this beautiful day. Thomas is happy. Got his rattle & one hand & fingers from other in his mouth! He's ready to go & so is Mommy! We are just cruisin along loving the  nice day...heck its so good we just might do our loop twice! Coming up on the entrance to our subdivision..nah Im not turning in we're gonna go again! Cross the street & going up the sidewalk.....THERE SHE GOES, RIGHT ON HER BUTT!!!! My stinkin rollerblade scraped on the side of the curb & feet came rightout from under me!

Thank goodness my Jogger stroller came with this wrist strap you wear so the stroller cant get a way from you. I had that on & as I was going down the stroller atarted to tip..I managed to get him back upright. Smacked my tailbone & then my back on the sidewalk. OUCH! I took the wrist strap off & went to the front of the stoller to check on Thomas & he had this huge grin! I wsa so happy he was alright. i thought I scared the poop out of him! By that grin it was a wild ride he enjoyed.  Im now sitting onthe curb in pain & very embarrassed because OF COURSE there had to bea car turning into my subdivision! They didnt even stop to check if I was alright!  Maybe they were laughing to hard to speak! Inside thats what I was doing. I just wished I could snap my fingers & be in my house.

I managed to get my sore clumsy self up & head home....rollerblading right past the person who saw me just take that fabulous spill ! They still didnt even ask if I was ok...meanies! I took Thomas out & headed straight for the kitchen pantry. Grabbed the double stuff oreoes & poured a glass of milk! I enjoyed my oreos &  forgot all about my fall & the healthy things I had already eaten today! Lets pray I get a better stroll tomorrow & dont give in to my oreo addiction!

Well, that's quite a day you've had now  isn't it.  I had to laugh though, sorry. I hope that your healthy diet goes better tomorrow. And I'm so jealous of that weather, it's 9F here in Ontario, Canada.

Aw, hope you're Ok momma!! You're doing better than I am, not even sure if I could stand in a pair of rollerblades!!! Like the other mom said, some days are meant to be Oreo days!!!

Jan. 15, 2009 at 8:18 PM All I can say is I really wish that I was there with you to see that wipe out. I wouldve peed myself for sure!!! You know you would have cracked up if it were me, so it's only fair!! Ah.. you are just too funny and hope to see you "home" soon!!
