Well, I'm getting ready to find out!
My dad took my kid to my Grandma's house....
and my grandma is NOTORIOUS for keeping food until it grows legs and walks away....
SO....
He said she ate dinner there and a cup of yogurt, and then she sent her a cup of yogurt home...
Emma wanted the yogurt right away when she got home...
So we opened up the little trix yogurt cup....
AND... it looked kind of funny.....
So David picked it up and checked the date...
MARCH 2006!
WTF?
We threw that one away before she ate any, but she already ate one at my Granma's house!
So.... What happens when you eat 3 yr old yogurt?
I'll let you know tomorrow......
SHIT!
Comments:
Are you sure the date hadn't been rubbed off and it looked like 2006?....maybe it had been an 8? I had yogurt hidden in the back of my fridge...ya know..no man's land that noone ever checks.....and it was only 3 or 4 months out of date and was all moldy......I would think after 3 years something pretty nasty would have happened to it....
EWwwww...I throw yogurt away after just a few weeks because I just don't feel right about eating it...lol...good luck with that one!
Omg I am lmao! My mother keeps food for long periods of time. We always have to check the salad dressng before we eat it. She might get a belly ache. I hope it is not bad for you. lol
My Hubby ges mad at me because I get rid of everything as soon as it is the sale by date. I don't want to get sick and I sure dont want my Daughter to get sick..
i hope for the best. her intestinal flora have got to be able to combat anything. if she hasn't hurled already, maybe she'll have a super power tomorrow?
