sooo Emma's party is finally all planned out, everything's been bought and a few things are being shipped in (should be here by monday or tuesday)... it's going to be a blast.... she's having a Hannah Montana pop star party with everyone dressed up, we're going to have karaoke, a pinata, games etc.....
so I've finally sat down and done some much needed price evaluations in my photography business, mostly on the wedding side of things, but I did learn a lot about the portrait side while I was doing it too..... which has been great.....
I shot a Rennaissance wedding over the weekend that was beautiful! They all had custom made clothes and the bride actually made the groom's shirt herself (black poet shirt with silver embroidery done by hand) which I can't believe personally ( I hate embroidering by hand *yick*) It was at this really old house here in town that's decorated appropriately and even though it was a small event, it was beautifully decorated and executed..... the ladies wore ribbons tied on their feet instead of shoes, the bouqets were all hand made by the bride etc..... fabulous silver jewelry and circlets purchased on etsy..... *sigh* seriously romantic and beautiful all the way around.... as soon as I get some editing done I will let you see!!
enough about that.....
Jason just found out he'll be on third shift until July which actually works out better for us because we'll be able to go to moondance, bonnaroo, camping in arkansas, he'll be off for the ren events in october too! couldn't believe we got that lucky!
oh yeah, I'm doing some major spring cleaning on my website, and working on my blog to provide some much needed tidbits to folks and beefing up my facebook prescence too....
on a different note, does anyone have animals that talk, I mean seriously say something?
don't think I'm crazy, we have yellow (momma cat) living in the house with us right now, and about a week or so ago she started wandering around calling "hello?" repeatedly..... it's a bit creepy
and then sunday morning, she was standing at the bedroom door calling "momma"
again, creepy
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had something like that happen? just curious.... I have my own theories but I'd like input :-)
phew
that was a lot more than I meant to post...... oh well! thanks for reading!!
Comments:
LOL!! I just saw this journal. I do't have any talking animals, BUT my husbands aunt swear her cat used to say "LORENE". Lorene was Tims grandmothers name (the aunts mother). They didn't notice it until after "LORENE" died.
IDK - I never "heard" it, but who am I to question it?!

Our cat calls for "Momma" too! My sis's eldest cat has also been known to talk, I know he says "momma" and something else, but I can't remeber it all :-(
Glad the wedding went great! Sounds beautiful!
