Urgent Prayers needed (updated)

Hi all... I have a very good friend, in Florida, who's daughter needs prayers NOW! Lauren had surgery to remove most of her colon yesterday due to some serious health issues. This has been a while in coming, but it was hoped it could be avoided. Unfortunately, it could not be helped, and she had up to 90% of her large intestine removed yesterday. She has been having problems with hear heart rate today, having rates of around 170, and some arrythymials and just got word that she's got some internal bleeding going on. She is receiving a transfusion right now. If the bleeding can't be stopped, they may have to go back in and find the leaky part.

Lauren needs all your prayers, and the prayers of everyone you know who is a prayer warrior NOW! We need to storm the gates of heaven on this young ones behalf. Lauren is a sweet girl, with some mild developmental delays, but she is just a delightful girl! Her momma, Alicia is VERY worried, and could use prayer too. Dad is at home with the rest of the kids, and is dealing with a recently re-broken leg, and the death of his mother. Needless to say, this whole family is really having a hard time! PLEASE say a prayer for all of this family. But especially for Lauren and Ali.

I will update when I hear anything new... and I really appreciate this... please pass this on to anyone you know who will pray!

I'm waiting for an additional update, but, heard this morning that they had to give her 4 units of blood and other clotting factors to bring her levels up.  The numbers initally looked good, but around noon Florida time, her BP starting going down a bit.  They are doing additonal blood work to see what's going on.  That was the latest I heard... I'm so glad that so many people are praying for her... keep spreading the word!  I would love it if ALL of CafeMom was saying a prayer for sweet Lauren!

 Hi Dori, I will absolutly get on the prayer wagaon! We will also get the family praying together, anything and everyone! Is Lauren's mom on cafemom? If she is let us know and we will stop by her page and send some love and prayers their also!
