Ok so here is my wipes recipe:
One roll of paper towels
2 cups + 2 tbsp water
2 tbsp baby wash or shampoo( my friend has omitted the baby oil and uses baby lotion I havent tried it yet be she loves it)
1 tbsp baby oil
1 container ( I used an empty baby wipes container)
Cut the paper towel roll on half ( I used a serated bread knife) then remove the cardboard roll from the center.
In the container combine the water, baby wash or shampoo and baby oil. Stir together and then put the paper towel roll in the solution, let soak for a bit and then turn it over. And voila! you have homemade baby wipes!! When you are ready to use pull from the center of the roll.
Thanks for the posts about the viva towels I am planning to try them next time.
If anyone is interested in anymore money saving tips just let me know. Or you can just check back pretty often. As I am trying things I am posting them. I don't give out recipes without trying them first.:)
Oh and someone asked about the wipes ripping and i haven't had theis problem at all. I think it depends on the brand you buy.
I would also maybe try o add a little more baby oil next time. It is really clearing up her diaper rash. She is so much more comfortable.
If anyone has questions i am an open book.........And I am always open to more money saving recipes.
