Lupus and Life

I was diagnosed w/ Diffuse Connective Tissue Disease/NEG ANA Lupus about 1 1/2 years ago, after several episodes of Pericarditis and shortness of breath. I'be been sick on and off my whole life w/ different illnesses no one ever put together. Every 6 months I end up in the hospital w/ a flare up. I am on steroids, Plaquenil, Cellcept and about 14 other drugs to control the side effects of the steroids. I  cannot get off the steroids, everytime I get down to a low dose, about 10mg, I flare. I am on 60mg currently from this last flare and am trying to wean. I just started the Cellcept about a month ago, I was Imuran I was wondering if there is anyone else out there like me..can't seem to get into remission. It is very frustrating for me. I don't look like myself, I don't feel like myself and I feel like my husband doesn't even want to look at me, hell, I don't want to look at me....
