Our community is doing a weight loss challenge to anyone who wants to form a team to participate. A local business started it by offering to donate $1 to a local food bank, for every pound lost. My bank decided to put together a team, so here I am. I'm really quite excited about it. My bank is donating $1 dollar for every pound lost on our team. I've gained 25 pounds since July (I am an emotional/stress eater). It's gonna go for 13 weeks.

We did our weigh in this past Wednesday. (Team weights are being published, not individual). I don't have the total weight of our team, (I'll get it later), but there are 19 from our branch who are on the team. That's all but around 6. A couple of them must have just joined because they thought it was the "in" thing to do... because if they were any skinnier, they'd float away. So that means the rest of us have to make up for their lack of pounds lost. Oh well.

So someone is bringing a scale to leave back in the loan file room, and everyone is going to weigh in every Tuesday morning. We have to report weight loss every week. I have decided not to weigh at home, just once a week at work.

I have been doing things like: not eating after 9pm; only drinking water at work (we have a Coke Machine); eating breakfast; plating my food; eating more fruits and vegetables. Then of course I have started working out. My Dad has a nice bike (the kind with a chair like seat, not bike seat) and a Bowflex that I've been using. Right now I'm doing aerobic everyday and strength every other day.

Mile Total: 35 miles

Sit Up Total: 130

Curls Total: 70 (20 lbs each side)

Pull Downs Total: 60 (30 lbs each side)

Good for you!  I can't wait until Elliana is in Kindergarten because my number 1 goal is to get physically fit once I have that couple of hours to myself.  We'll see if it happens, but I hope so!  I want to join a gym aerobics class or yoga or something like that.
