IF YOU ARE GOING TO CRITICIZE ME FOR SMOKING, GOODBYE. I DON"T WANT TO HEAR IT.
I am planning on quitting soon, and you have no idea how my life is so don't even try it.
I have had gentically inhereted asthma since childhood and rarely took an inhaler, then I moved to the city and had problems with wheezing I am allergic to pollution, wood smoke, car exhaust is the worst one, I worked at a drive thru coffee stand once and ended up in the ER. cats, dust, dogs, trees, etc. I have an attack occasionally when I get sick. I used to smoke two packs a day or less up until or so years ago and now I just have a few a day (1-3) for the last few years (There was a period of time where I quit for a year). I started taking albuterol again when I was pregnant. I continued to take my inhaler for asthma even though I didnt smoke at the time so My DR. put me on advair shortly after pregnancy since I was taking my albuterol more than once a week (my grandma takes hers 4-5 times a day) Ever since then, my hair is falling out, I gained weight, my heart beats out of my chest, can't sleep at night, leg cramps, blurry vision, sick to my stomach, migranes, my gums and teeth are having pain, bleeding and receding gums, and my asthma has gotten WORSE! I never wheeze, I just get diaphragm, chest tightness. And the whole time I have been taking my albuterol the same amount as before pretty much. It started out helping, it seemed, but now I can say for sure it has made me worse not better. Very uncomfortable. I am going to stay off that crap and going to go back to using albuterol. I know it probably works for some people, but I know that it doesnt work for everyone. I wish the drs would not push not using albuterol which is a very safe drug compared to the alternatives.
