Blah... what a shitty ass like two weeks. The tire pops on my brothers car on the ride home from taking him to the airport for him to go back down to Ft. Benning from the holidays, luckily, I'm close enough to home to get it there, Donnie went to put the donut on and guess what, the damn lug nuts wouldn't come off, he got two off, then ended up borrowing a friends tool to do the other two, gets one off and breaks his tool, then later he came over with another tool, yep... breaks that one too as soon as they try to get it off so there was nothing we could do for the time being. The next day DH's Mom and Dad came over, within 30secs his dad had it off, but it was completely... I mean completely stripped, along with one of the other ones. Well, we get it to where we can take it to Sam's Club to have them replace it... they don't have any in stock. So we had to go home and order one which took almost a week, even with being pro-rated it costed us like $100 for a freaking vehicle that isn't even ours..... blah.
Then we have to get a battery for our jeep because the other one FRIED!, so yeah... I haven't boughten batteries in like 3 or so years, holy god damn... like $75 for a battery??? Are ya serious??? So we got that so we could take the Jeep to get it worked on, took Donnie all day to rip the tranny out... 5th gear and reverse are all Eff'ed up and not working. The trucks 4-Wheel drive is broke once again.... Our Dish network went down... can't find a signal, they can't get anyone here until Sunday, but you know when you call to get service set up they can be there in a day! >:-O lol So whatever, we got them to prorate the bill since we won't have TV for over a week, then they said it'll be a $29.95 service charge to have someone come out and fix it... so really, they may be prorating but they are still getting more out of it... anyways... after lots of bitching (I'm good at that... DH too), they dropped the service charge, which we shouldn't have been charged anyways. It's not an internal problem, it's a problem on THEIR end, not ours.
Anyways... here's the shit kicker out of all of this.
With all the ice... ice... hmmm, more ice... then snow... and once again, more ice... our gutters and downward spouts from solid, then when the weather went just enough to melt a little, the water had no where to go because of how bad the gutters and what not were, it seeped into our house.... the WHOLE ENTIRE back part of our house, the ceiling is Eff'ed up. All I could hear is drip drip, drip drip. So, Sat-Sun we were out chippin' ice out of the gutters until 3:30-4am, then Sun, the ceiling was even worse, I got smart... yep me... lol, I grabbed the largest pots I could, boiled them all, continuously and poured boiling hot water down the spouts and gutters while chipping the ice until I could pull the chunks out. Shoveled the roof off. DH borrowed our friend Nick's circular saw(lifesaver) and ended up cutting a hole through the old roof to get to the newer part of our house... everything was wet and iciles hanging. Long story short... pulled the fiberglass installation out to set out and dry and towel dried the rest... HOPEFULLY... FINGERS CROSSED, all of this fixed our problem.... Now we have all the internal work to do to our ceilings... shoot me now! =P Sorry for the long bitching... I HAD to vent!
Oh yes... one more thing... My brother is back as of today and staying with us for a while... This is called... kicking you while you are already down! lol
