Yes, I have! At my high school reunion, back in 1984, I took off my wedding rings to wash my hands. I had already had too much to drink and I forgot I had taken them off!!!!! Needless to say, I never found them!!
On another occasion, I was washing my hands at home and my birthstone ring slipped off my finger and into the sink!!!
