Oh My Gosh! This is SO good! You have to try it!
3 Envelope Chicken
Serves 4-6
1 envelope dry ranch dressing mix
1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix (I found this one at Kroger.)
1 envelope dry chicken gravy mix (The powder mix found with the other seasoning packets.)
1 cup of water
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts (I used the frozen kind and put them in frozen.)
Place chicken in the crock pot then
the dry ingredients and the water in a cup and stir with a fork. Pour
that over the chicken. Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.
I put mine on a bed of rice. It is SO good!
Joel worked late last night and when I woke up this morning he said
"What was that in the bowl in the fridge?" I thought "Oh no, he didn't
like it." Well, I was wrong he loved it! He wants me to make it every
week. It's So good! I was going to serve his to him with mashed
potatoes but, he never came home so, he just got he bowl of chicken
with the juice poured over it in the fridge. He heated it up and ate
it like that.
The recipe says that you can also make a roast like that but, instead
of a chicken gravy packet use a dry brown gravy packet. I'll have to
try that next.
Have a great day!
Kim

Sounds like something James would like before work...I'll have to try it, it sounds really good! Thanks for sharing.
We make this same meal and my family (kids included) love it. only difference is once the chicken is done I shred the meat in the cooker (just using forks) and then I throw in a bag of premade salad mix and a bag of premade spinage leaves. let the salad warm up and mix all together. YUMMY : ) The kids like to sprinkle a bit of cheese and croutons on top too. LOL, this is the only way I can get my kids to eat spinage leaves! *Making it tomorrow and fogot how much water to add & your journal post pulled up on a google search* So thank you fellow "cafemom"er!
