101 Reasons to Breastfeed

I got this off of one of the Breastfeeding groups and thought it had lots of great info on why BF'ing really is the best thing you can give your lil one. I understand there are many reasons why people don't/can't, but for any of you interested... take a look. It's way to long to post in here so there's the link... check it out! =)

I do believe that Breastfeeding is the BEST .. however, for those moms that can't breastfeed .. I don't think they should be made to feel like they are less then.

I have an Aunt that couldn't produce milk and her 1st was losing weight .. so instead of starving her child, she bottle fed .. She cried and cried because all of her sisters were able to BF .. they didn't make her feel bad, but I do read many postings about woman the don't BF are doing the wrong thing ... what is better, starving their child? You never know the reason why, so don't be nasty ...

Some HAVE to work and can't .. I also don't think they are bad for supporting their children .. If you can, do .. it really is the best choice, but not always one you can do. IMO

Like I said, there are many reasons why people don't and/or can't. If you need to re-read what I wrote, please do... nothing nasty about it.... Most of my friends formula feed, I do not belittle them for doing so, but I have no problem with putting information out there to help people understand WHY breastmilk is the BEST if they can do it and want to. I personally did not plan on BF'ing my kids and the more and more information I got on it I decided I was going to. Information is knowledge.... =)

Dang Bra Just start a drama fest on your page haha. Jk I do believe that Boob milk is best.. And I wanted to although I couldn't .. dang boobs anyways

lol, Amanda... people just read into things WAY too much. Nothing bad about it. I don't critize people for bottle feeding and I'd be damned to have people get bitchy with me for just putting truthful info out there! =) How are you guys doing anyways??? How's the lil one... you need to put up more pics! ;-)
