I guess two is too many...

Why do people feel the need to comment on the number of children/age of children I have.  I don't think it's that ridiculous.  I have a daughter who will be 3 next month and a 3-month old daughter.

I was in Macy's a few days ago and a guy in cosmetics said, "Wow, what a parade."

In the library, a random stranger (male) said to me, "You have your hands full, don't you?"

These comments are just in the last 2 days.  There have been more, believe me.

Do I look that hassled and harassed?  Yes, they were in the double stroller, but what of it?  Two kids is not that many.  By the way, I'm having more, people!  What will you think then?

When did a parade consist of only 2 children?  I would think the requirement would be, at least, 10!

Why do people feel the necessity/permission to comment, anyway?

I get comments like that all the time, but I think its due more to having two so close in age rather than just two kids.  Mine are 14 monhts apart, and people are always like"WOW you have your hands full!!"  and im like" Yeaaa I sure do!"  :D  People in general dont mean to be offensive  (of course there are always exceptions, some DO mean to be offensive, but they are usually grumpy and old.)

I have three children and I get comments on a daily basis even though my children are usally well behaved my kids are 5,3, and 1 and My fav comment is how did you get all those kids I told the women from my Vagina....It is so ignorant that people don't know when to keep there mouth shut though I do get the few comments about what a blessing children are amen to that!

If the requirement is 10, I would still miss it....by 3! LOL

I get that type of stuff ALL the time. I am pg with #7 and the 3 youngest before this one are 2 and 1 yo b/g twins.

It can get a *little* annoying. Most of the time I just smile and keep walking.  But if they catch me on a bad day....look out! LOL j/k.

I have a two year old right now and I get comments like that and I only have one, he's really active. My children will be like yours, my son will be turning 3 years old and his sister will be turning 2mos old. I also was talking to this women and she found out I was from a big family of brothers and sisters and assuming she said your going to be having a lot of kids aren't you because I was on my 2nd pregnancy and looked at her and my husband said no.

Come on!!!  When did two became too many!! It annoys me when people told me dont have  a  baby now it is not time, and now they are telling me.hey you need to have  a baby...but just one! Two maximum!...HELLOOOOO! It is my life, whta if I love babies? This is terrible because my mother ususally tells me your will not have more than two!! I try to ignore them =)

I have 4... my life is crazy and some people just can't think before they speak... you are fine...
