And lastely a better career. I know I can do well in an awesome career and I can feel that it is my year to shine. No more tiny jobs with mean bosses. That I finally worked my tail off to get some where that I will cry my eyes out when I retire. So now I need to start building up my resume and gosh darnit I am going to do it.
Well there is just no jobs being thrown at me right now and even though I apply like crazy I just can't seem to find a career. I have medical schooling backing me up but I need more than that. So I am volunteering at my local hospital possibly working in the office side of things. I will try to get some months of work under my belt and hopefully it will strengthen my resume.
Also I am hoping it will boost my confidence in my skills. I won't be paid for this but I know I will get a lot out of it.
For those new to my blogs this is my 2009 list of things to do: http://www.cafemom.com/journals/read/1359895/What_do_I_want_out_of_2009

Well the medical field actually has been making more jobs. But I don't have the experience I need. I have had nothing but crappy jobs in the past and those are not helping me get the job of my dreams. It took me a long time to really figure out what I liked to do. I had to sit back and analyze myself. And ask that horrible question most mothers really don't know about themselves "Who am I?"
For me I am what is known as a healer. I love to take care of people, I take pride in helping those who are sick feel better, and I love to be kept busy with doing this. I think it is just the thought of being needed that also helps me. I am also a listener and intuitive. I usually known what people want before they even ask. I get to know a person and I can predict their needs and wants before they say anything.
And when I take all those things that I know about myself I try to find a job that fits that. And my husband suggested Health care. So I went to school and found that I absolutely love it.
So I decided to donate my time to gain experience and to boost my confidence in my skills. And that right there will help me to be boosted to the top of the resume pile for medical jobs. Plus reading "How to build a resume for dummies" helps also.

The economy is in the tank so there are no jobs nowhere to be found. I would like to go back to work in the next year or so. My husband would love that. we need the money. But I didn't go to college for the career I really want. Im not exactly sure what I really want......... some sort of office, desk, computer job that uses my skills........with no mean bosses! I have been there before. *lol*
But good luck with ALL of your new years resolutions (you made 7 or more?! wow!)
