I've been reading posts on here talking about our country starting fresh. They're saying "now it's time to work together and stop waiting for others to fix our country". Then, they go on to say, "Obama can't do it all by himself. WE need to get off our butts and do something." WHAT THE HECK? Nobody wanted to "fix" our nation when Bush was in office. Nobody said that he can't do it on his own. Nobody said we need to step up our game and get involved. Nooooo. People said that Bush hurt our economy. Bush didn't do anything but shoot missiles at unsuspecting victims. Where the hell were these people that want to be patriotic and stand behind our leader and support him while Bush was in office? I do recall someone writing, "Just because you don't like Obama doesn't mean you shouldn't support him." or things like "We need to unite behind our LEADER and show him respect, even if you don't like ALL of his policies". You know, if I did not support Bush on his decisions (I do, though), I would have never said things like, "Good riddance" or "Don't let the door hit ya on your way out". I think that although I don't agree with MANY things Obama believes in, I'm not going to slander him and not show him respect if I were to ever see him face to face. I would never BOO at him at a press conference. I'm just so shocked that so many people could be so rude. I don't appreciate people telling me I'm stupid just because I don't agree with them. I see it all the time on here and it just pains me to think that there are people out there teaching children these mannerisms. No WONDER there are so many rude children. They learn it from their parents.
Ok, my rant is over. Go ahead and let me have it. I told you my opinion, so go put on your boxing gloves and give me a pounding.

I wont let you have it either I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think the major difference here for a lot of people is that there came a time when we couldn't get behind Bush any longer because of his actions. I didn't vote for Bush but I am married to a verteran who is a Republican who strongly had faith in Bush and I watched as he defended Bush for 4 years and then in the 2nd 4 years I watchedd as he was continually disgusted by Bush's actions. thankfully my husbands patriotism never faded he loves his country and so do I.
I hope that this wont happen with Obama but it could, I admit no one is perfect things could go very bad, but it could also go very right, we need to allow Obama a chance to show us what he can do and then judge him on his actions as we have past presidents.

I'm not going to let you "have it" because I completely agree with every word. I'll give Obama just as much "help" and "service" as the liberals gave President Bush, and see how well he fares. I'll pray for the Lord to keep him humble, and bestow wisdom from above on him, but there's no way I'm going to go along with his socialistic ideals. I won't support his stance on abortion, same sex marriage, or anything else that goes against Biblical principles either.
