Zoey finally went to sleep but not until she successfully took off two keys (t and g) off my keyboard. I wanted to write to see if those letters will still show up even if the facade (don't know what to call them) was off. As you can see those letters are still showing up.

We are in Charleston, SC coming back home from North Myrtle Beach where we stayed since Sunday to take off during Fall Break.

On our way we stopped at Barnes and Noble to see if I could get "Harry Potter: and the Half-Blood Prince" on audio so that I could listen to it while I drive. I wasn't lucky, and we bought Tess Gerritsen's, "The Keepsake" instead. I also bought Eddie a wizard's chess and Zoey a "My Friend's Tigger & Poor" book with a magnetic pad. Eddie learned how to play chess with his dad, while Zoey and I ate then danced at the Atlanta Bread Company.

My husband didn't feel good today. He took a combination of pills last night that made his heart work overtime today. He worried me. I called his cardiologist but they were at lunch while we were at the Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach. We stopped at a hotel early after dinner so he can recuperate better.

Well, I guess this is really more like a diary entry of what happened today. I wanted to vent. I also realized that even though my daughter made me irritated for destroying the keyboard, I cannot really stay mad at her. My love for her is so deep. As she was nursing, I sang to her, and kissed her forehead, I thought of the many times she's forgiven me when she got hurt while I was with her (i.e., falling off the bed because I was too lazy to get up and put her in her crib, etc.) Having children in a marriage really teaches magnanimous lessons about life. And it is so vastly different from what I understood life to be in my teens and through my college years.

I am loving life and enjoying every minute of it even with its negative feelings.
