RE: President Obama

Just a few thoughts, for all my true believers...

1.  Where man fails, GOD prevails.

2.  While many are saying "Anti-Christ,"  God is saying "I AM THE CHRIST!"

3.  We must remember that GOD can and does make use of EVERY situation to get our attention and to reveal to us the level of faith WE have in HIM.

4.  Let's take our eyes off the "man" and position our eyes on the GREAT "I AM."

God is able to work in and through our president, whether we appreciate his appointment to office or not.  God is able to cause things to work together for the good of our nation, whether we feel we are a nation divided or not.  There is NOT ONE who has held a position in office that GOD did not allow to be there.  So, while we are pouting, gossiping, judging, striking out, and failing to keep our eyes on the prize found ONLY in Christ Jesus, we are missing the point.

If we don't believe in or agree with something our president does/says/makes law, we must go to the ultimate lawmaker and seek HIS guidance and walk accordingly.  Guess what?  God doesn't always allow situations to work out the way WE feel they should, but rather according to HIS plan and purpose to get something out of us, that nothing/no one else has been able to.  It's time for US to change...BE the change that WE want to SEE.

Stop assigning a "god" status to men, because GOD is the ONLY ONE who can do ANYTHING but FAIL.

I agree. No man, even in the highest office in the nation, is a messiah. Let's stop acting like any human can be that and pray for our nation. There is much to be done. But it's not up to one man to do it. It's up to us all.

WELL said!  We can never place our trust in man!  Every man and Every President will fail us and be imperfect, but our GOD will NEVER fail us, for he IS perfect in all His ways!!!!  Great post!

Dear Sister D,

As you very well know...I didn't vote for the President...and am already hearing negatives about him...I just keep telling myself...MY GOD is SOVEREIGN and in control of all...and even what might seem (to mankind) the darkest possible situation...The Great I Am can accomplish and will accomplish HIS plan and will...There is no doubt that your words were/are HOLY SPIRIT filled and led...thank you for faith and faithfulness...I will continue to lift up the president (as well as his family) up in prayers...I pray that God will pour wisdom and discernment over him and that he will heed and act on that wisdom and discernment...as long as we put our faith in God the father, God the son, Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit...there is ALWAYS hope...we must trust God...his wisdom...his will...we must trust and obey!  Thanks for words of hope!
