Is it just me?

Okay I am sure I'll get some nasty PM's about this one but I have to ask.....

I see many post where mom's are talking about their drug use, and its referred to as if this is normal and acceptable in everyday life. I get that at one time we were all in high school and we either tried smoking pot, cigarettes or drinking but as a parent is it considered normal to be smoking pot all while complaining you have no money, or your DH of BF is a jerk who mistreats you, or that you needed to relax so you go smoke a bowl?

Is it just me? Am I the only one who thinks what happened to taking a long hot bath with candles to relax? I am the only one who thinks if the person you are sharing your life with is such a low life turd you should kick them to the curb and better yourself? Am I the only person who thinks that smoking pot is not something a parent should do?

I am not talking about those who use it for medical purposes, that is completely different. I understand the medical use of it and I don't question that . I am talking about the people who are so busy smoking it that they cant post about their crappy day or taking care of their child without mentioning that they had to smoke a bowl to get through it all.

Maybe I am completely off but I just can not be okay with the idea that these moms are posting these things on a website showing their lack of good judgement. Who is taking care of these kids while mom is smoking her bowl to relax?

amen. I have no sympathy for people that can't afford to pay their bills but always have the newest cell phone with coolest ring tones and gadget and have their supply of dope.

I don't think parents should smoke pot, or do any kind of narcotic while BEING PARENTS. What values are you instilling your children? C'mon people.

I think way to many women let men walk over them anyways, did their mothers not teach THEM self worth? C'mon how do you live day in and day out with a douche bag? How do you let it get to a point of them beating you or threatening you?
I just don't understand some people.

Very well said post. If you get hate mail from this then it just means they are sorry as hell parents and they are pissed you called them on it.

My kids come first. I use to do drugs way back in the day but we all grow up well some of us do!!

I am so glad I am not the only one who feels like this, some nights I sit here completely amazed and disgusted by the posts i read. At some point you have to grow up and be an adult.

You are absolutely right. I've often read things on here and wondered if these people could be for real. Sadly, I do know that these things go on in the world. I guess some people can't grow up.
