We woke to the high pitch shrieks of my DD this morning finding her beloved guinea pig, Roscoe eternally sleeping.
Roscoe Wyatt, fur son of Tae, left the earth between 4 am - 6 am on January 27, 2009.
On November 22, 2005, Roscoe left his life of abuse & neglect when he was rescued and adopted by his human mother from the Columbia Humane Society.
Roscoe enjoyed grazing on his human grandparent's shredded bills and carrot sticks, long walks in the yard with his harness and leash, and games of hide - n - seek with his fur sibling, Sadie the cat.
He biggest enjoyment was his pranks on his human grandmother when he was set free to roam his barricades on the floor while his human mother cleaned his housing. He found true happiness in making her climb the chairs and table tops.
Roscoe is survived by his human mother, Tae, human grandparents and uncles, cat siblings Sadie & Salem, and dog siblings Sabyl & Sakari.
Graveside services will be January 27, 2009 at the Wyatt home.

Awww. I am sorry. It is amazing how our little furbabies become part of the family and how painful it is when they are gone.
My condolences on your loss. I'm sure he was a real good pig :). Good to see you on CM. Stay inspired!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Roscoe. RIP Roscoe.
I had a guinea pig once, she was blind and I named her Helen, after Helen Keller, she got a tumor on her ovaries and before I knew that there was something wrong it had gotten too bad and she died at the vets office. It absolutely broke my heart.
