Well I am seriously regretting choosing the prenatal care that I chose. Turns out it is too late to change my mind as I am now 31 weeks pregnant.  My first child was born by emergency c-section which is no walk in the park. My second was born by scheduled section which was the most awesome thing that has ever happened to me. lol. This child will be born by scheduled section after a fashion. I say "after a fashion" because it won't really be scheduled other than we know it is going to be a c-section. With #2 We knew the exact date she would be born as soon as we knew she was a "she". Which is awesome because you can work your work schedules and things around the date. Anyway I went to the Dr. today and found that she won't have anything to do wth my surgery (you didn't tell me this at first why?!) and will in fact have to refer me to the women's health clinic associated with the hospital to make the date and preparations for my surgery. And that they don't have any openings until I am 38 weeks. And that she will make sure to get me an appointment before I am 39 weeks. I swear to all that is good and holy if I go into labor before this damn section I will not exercise verbal restraint the next time I see this so called "doctor"! A scheduled c-section when you are not in labor actually has vey few risks greater than a vaginal delivery. A section during labor is more dangerous, more painful, and requires more aftercare and downtime than a section that was scheduled. An emergency section requires even greater risk, pain and such. So just because this doctor wanted my continued business she kept putting me off everytime I asked her about setting a date...until today when she breaks the news that she wouldn't set a date with me before because she has nothing to do with it. A stranger will cut open my abdomen when very possibly the odds will be stacked against me because of my stupid doctor. I am so freaking mad right now and worried....
