Since when does being a stay at home mean I take care of my kids by myself with little to no help whatsoever from my husband?!?!?

Yes, I do understand that being a sahm means that that's my only "job", but does is mean that he can't help even just a little!! I realize that he works between 50 - 55 hours a week, and he's tired. But it irritates me that he can come home, go straight to his room, get on his computer and watch movies on YouTube with his headphones on for hours!! Both kids are screaming, crying, and getting into things and he just lays in there because I "haven't done anything all day!"

WTF!!! Are you kidding me?!?! Do you not hear the kids? This is what they do ALL day, EVERY day!!

A little help would be good!!!

I just don't understand how he can sit there and hear them and completely ignore it! I know that mean have the ability to do that, but come on!!

In fact, my son was crying hysterically and I couldn't do anything to calm him down. I took him into my husband's room and he quieted right down. I left him in there and he was fine. Not even 5 minutes later, my husband brings my son back into the living room with me, sits him on the floor, and goes to our bedroom to watch TV. What happens? Yep, he starts crying again! And does my hubby come get him? Nope!!

5 minutes later, I picked him up and took him back in there with his daddy. Sure enough, he quit crying. So I left him. 10 minutes later, he was asleep.

Hubby doesn't understand that our son misses him too! I realize that he is only 6 months old, but I believe that he knows his daddy and recognizes when he is around and not around. So why doesn't hubby?!?!?

UGGGHHH!!! I can so mad sometimes!!!

Hubby is off tomorrow, so maybe he will actually help. Fat chance. Bet ya $50 he spends the majority of his time on his dang computer watching movies...again!!!

steal the comptuer cord and hide it.  lmao.

i'm sorry your husband is like that.  maybe you could tell him that since he has a day off, you're taking one too. then sit on your butt, order pizza for dinner adn dont' do a damned thing. then at the end of the day, make him walk through the house and see how it looks and how much you really do do. if that doesn't work, well, i feel your pain. i've been there. mine still doesn't help wiht the housework but he does kinda occupy the kids.

Hey girl..know exactly how you feel!  Even though I work too, Greg does the SAME thing!  Pisses me off!  Then when I do finally say something, we end up getting into a fight about it.   Hope you have a better day!
