House defeats bill to delay digital TV transition (AP)

After reading this article, I wanted to ask, "Who is ready for the change to digital television?"

And I have another question, "Would you mind, if you are ready for digital, the transition being delaid (until June) so others would have more time since they ran out of coupons from the government to help defray the cost?"

I am one of the ones who wont be getting my coupons until after the transition. I don't have cable nor a digital television. I was thinking that we would just not have television until I could afford to buy the "box."

I have the converter box and have yet to get it to work. I didn't know that you still need an antenna with it. That is sooo dumb. I bought one at Wal-Mart and the connector part doesn't fit. So I got another one and it still didn't work. Ahhh well, do i really need tv?

i already have cox cabel so i will be ok .I dont really care since it doesnt really effect me so much you know i would feel completely different if i did not and was not ready though
