on sunday ( Jan. 11th) i was having very strong contractions all day but they were 10-15 minutes apart, and around 10pm they strated being 25-30 minutes apart.. i was kinda dissapointed and figured yet again it was false labor even though they were stronger than ever.  Then on monday i woke up at 6:10 with the worst contractions EVER and they were 5 minutes apart.. at 6:30 Paul (my husband) woke up, i told him what was going on and he told me to call the doctor and let them know. So I called, and teh on call doctor was supposed to call back in 20 minutes or less, but after 30 minutes without a call and more contractions that were getting stronger we decided to call L&D and tell them that i was in labor and on my way in.  When we got there they hooked me up to the monitors and after about 30 minutes teh doctor came in and checked me, i was 4 cm and 100% ( @ my last appointment i was 2cm and 50%), so she decided to break my water. I went and sat in the tub for about 45 minutes ( that only made teh contractions hurt worse). it was now about 10:15 and the nurse checked me again.. now i was 8cm and her head was VERY low. so i had dialated 4 cm in about a hour and a half. I laid in bed for about 10 more minutes then realized it was time to push, the nurse called the doctor and checked me again.. i was right i was 10cm and her head was at +4.. she was very ready to come out. i started pushing at 10:45 and 9 minutes later my baby girl was laying on my stomach.
