Oh it's funny for me but not for his mom lol

Nick and I were doing math yesterday around lunchtime when I see this kid just trucking through the field towards the nieghbor's house. I realize it's Tyler so I bust outta the house and catch him just as he reaches his driveway, "Hi Tyler! Did you have 1/2 a day today?" 'Cause I don't know right? Maybe he did or he was sick. So he replies, "My bus never came."

So answer me one thing (snicker)..just WHAT were you doing for the past 4 or 5 hours? ROFL

His reply.."I was doing laps."

Oh my Lord! So I said alright and to go in and call mom. 'Cause that's what I did.

Kaye picks up the phone and ask her if Tyler had a half day today and all I get is silence on the phone. I told her he just came home and said his bus never picked him up.

"WHAT!?" was her only reply and then a very composed "Thank you. Please bring him to your house and put him in time out until my mother gets there."

So I went next door and knocked and poor kid answers the door, his face completely drained of all color and his eyes red with tears.

I bring him home and his grandmother picks him up. Kaye told me later that the bus WAS on time and it was a regular driver.

Oh my Lord too funny! Not for her.. but..made me laugh yesterday!rolling on floor
