My Birthday

Well, I turned 28 on Thursday, January 29th. Another year older and another year wiser...lol I think that's how it goes.

I had a good day. I took myself shopping for some clothes and a new camera. I ended up getting 2 pair of jeans, a couple shirts, and a new Canon camera 8-pixal. I'm loving all of it! The camera is great! I just got the program uploaded to my computer today and uploaded the few pictures that I took.

Then after Devon got home from school, we just relaxed and watched some movies and enjoyed being together. But then, just before going to bed, Devon asked me "Mommy, where's your cake?" I told her that I didn't get one. "But you have to have one. You have to get a cake and we have to put 28 candles on there and I have to help you blow them out!" she insisted...lol So I gave in and told her that I would get one.

So, yesterday, I went out to the store and got a cake. I didn't feel like making my own, so I just bought one. I even picked up 3 webkinz for us to enjoy as well as two new movies. Once she got home from school and saw that cake, she insisted that we put the candles on then and blow them out and eat it. I told her that we had to eat supper first...

We had pizza for supper and then I got the cake ready. Put the candles in and then lit them. And then together, we blow the candles out. She was so happy! It just tickled me to see her so excited....lol Then we had a piece. The whole thing was just to cute!
