We took a weekend getaway last weekend too........

Yep we finally went to Lake Tahoe it's so close and so beautiful. I am so glad we have a 4X4. Everyone had to stop and put snow chains on. It was so nice to see a storm come in and watch it snow. When we got there we took Carson snow mobiling and then we played in the snow which was so much fun. There were a lot of people there such as snow borders and skiers. The lake was pretty.

We stayed in a motel the Holiday Inn express and Carson was so excited we had a coffee maker in there and a microwave and a small refrigerator he said oh wow mom we got tea too. We went to the store to get some snacks. Then we cleaned up and went to the Buffet at Harris and Carson & I stayed in a long line and Dh went to gambel the line moved quickly it only took us 40 min or so. The food was delious they had giant King Crab leggs as well as roast, chicken,ribs oh everything you can think of. It was so yummy.

The next morning Carson and Dh woke up early and went to the contiental breakfast and brougt me back some yummy goodies and hot coco and coffee. My little guy was just thrilled he was having a great time. We shopped at the outlets for awhile then drove down the mountain and then we pulled over and played in the snow with our inertube.

What a great getaway!
