So I went to the dr. yesterday and well we had a busy day in general, but that a longer story, and we all know how I can go on and on with my journals sometimes so I will try to keep this one short!

Anyways....

I have gained 20 lbs so far which she said was still okay, but my weight gain has picked up more in the last 3 weeks so just to be aware of what I am eating so I don't gain more than I want to, but that she is very happy and I have done very well so far.  After she measured, am around 40 weeks still, so the weight gain is me :o(, she was trying to feel what position he is in from the outside and she says you are having a CONTRACTION, I didn't feel it, but she said I surely was, I said if thats a contraction I have been having those more and more! so she waited till it was over and said she thinks he is still head down! YAY, so then I ask her if she can feel my back on the right side as it has been hurting more and more lately and I had had Dallas feel it that morning and he said there is a bump there, so have your Dr. feel it today.  So she felt it and said "oh you have a rib out of place" I didn't even know you could get a rib out of place! Soooo I am going to the Chiropractor for the first time in my entire life on Wednesday to get my rib put back into place.

Dallas didn't go with us this time, he was too tired and I told him if he wanted to skip an appt this would be the one.  So Avery and I were by ourselves or I woulda had her check my cervix to see if the contractions had started anything or not, I figure if they don't hurt what good can they be doing anyhow? If I make it to my next appt, i will of course have her check me then.  Avery and I did stop at the hospital finally and pre-register, my Dr. told me that since I only had an 8 hour labor with Avery, I should call her when they are 7-10 min apart and are making me have to stop and rest for a sec or catch my breath. She is anticipating me going fast! :o) which is great for me as I have NO idea who is gonna watch Avery while I am getting baby Riley out! either I will be alone giving birth and Daddy will be with Avery, or hopefully Josh or D's mom can be available! I do have one lady from our "school" aka playgroup that offered to watch Avery, but I don't think she realizes I am delivering at a hospital in the next city, not the one here where we live. plus she has a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old, and if I would possibly need someone between 2 am and 11 am, so pray that i have an evening baby! LOL then i won't have to be alone and Avery will be right there so I can see him right before and after!

Hope I didn't go overboard this time, I can get lengthy with these.

How exciting! You are almost there girlie!  I hope Dallas can be there but I know how you feel our designated babysiter for Henry and Dallas is going to have wrist surgery in March... so it kinda cuts her out.

I'm praying that you don't have to have this baby alone and that something magical will happen with Avery. It was nice of your friend to offer to sit while your in the hospital, but it sounds like her hands are full with her little ones too. I'm sending you lots of prayers!! It'll all work out for the best momma. Love you and glad to hear that everything is going well. I wish you a 'smooth' delivery, healthy baby, and healthy mommy!!!! Miss you guys~Muah!!!

Sounds like things are getting exciting!!  I can't wait to see baby Riley and hear how things go!  :)

Hopefully everything will work out and you wont have to be worried about Avery while you are giving birth.  I wish I was there and I would keep Avery for you!
