Ok so.... Im totally head over heels for Ryan and so far his mom hasnt been able to split us up!! Wooohooo!!
BUT.... Im a little nervous about this job that Ryan's company might be taking in Columbia, Missouri; which is like all the way over by St Louis!! Super far!! So I guess anywhere between March and June is when he finds out whether or not they are doing this job. I dont know what they might be doing but Ryan said it would take between 8months to 1yr!!! The worst part of it all.... he would only be home 2x a month!!! I understand that it will mean lots of money for him. It just totally sucks that he might be gone for that long and we wont get to see each other. Im wondering what is going to happen to our relationship. It makes me sad to think about this. When he first told me, all I could say was "Oh." I dont want him to leave for that long but I cant say anything about it either. So Im just a lil bit sad. I cant stand being away from him for even 1-2 days! As a matter of fact, I started picking him up from work just to see him more often!!! Now what will I do??? :( SO SAD!!

As much as I would LOVE to take a trip to see him....I dont think I could do it by myself. Its like an 8-10hr drive from where I live :( I think even if I went there that we wouldnt get to spend much time together. His hours would be crazy. He told me he works like 60hr/week thru good weather.
I have never had any kind of long distance relationship before. I also believe that if we are still together when he comes back then this would probably be his longest relationship, cuz his mom usually breaks them up like ASAP! Oh boy she would hate that!! Hehehe!
Even though Im sad about it, I think it could definately be a positive thing for us. I just really hope that he doesnt get in trouble while he is there!! Like fighting or drinking. That would really suck.
im so sorry to hear this!! what does he do? columbia is where im from-its an awesome place!! i highly suggest you pack up and move with him!! :) ha how long would he be working there? maybe you could meet in kansas city or somewhere that is in the middle?

He works with concrete, builds buildings etc. He would only be there 8 months to 1 year. He is supposed to come home maybe 2x a month. If I could go with him I totally would! but....we have only been together for less than 2 months and I dont think he would ask me considering I have 3 kids and I wont leave them with their father. I might be able to meet him in the middle.
That is soooooo true! I was thinking that too which is why I was thinking it might be a positive thing. The only thing that will be hard is not being able to be in his arms, not being able to kiss him etc. Im cool as long as I know that he is mine and I am his. I will be able to talk to him of course. Thankful for that!! Unless his mom wont pay his cell phone bill.....

You are in that new love right now and all you want is to be with each other. That's SUCH a wonderful thing to have!! I think that if you guys can make it through this rough patch, then you'll be set. And maybe you can even make a trip out to him once a month or so.
