I'm starting to get sick of Cafemom!

 To start off these showdowns are really getting stupid not to be a sore loser or anything and I'm sure that most agree with me but there is a scenery pic under best close up against my daughter and so far it has more votes. The scenery is great but seriously it's not a close up. It just dumb. What is my baby not cute? I think she's gorgeous!!! Then there are a bunch of bashing mommies that just make people feel like crap. You can't even ask a question without some mom making a mean comment pretty much saying your an idiot. When I post a journal I hardly get any feedback and if I do it's one of my friends which is great but ti would be nice to get answers and opinions from others as well. I post new pictures and don't even get views, so I sit here and wonder why. I'm bored and I come here for entertainment and support but I hardly get any. 100 something people viewed my post about the fire that took our apt and I only got 3 comments!!! It's just starting to become pointless to even visit this site anymore even though I do still love it. It's a great site to meet other moms but people can be mean. Well I think I'll go start playing the laundry game again.

LOL!!! I hear ya.  It does get a little boring on here every once in a while.  for me this is a great way to vent and I don't care who reads it not.  It's good therapy for me. lol!!! Have a great day.

I totally agree... People need to start posting under the correct one.. I put one of my daughter in best self portrate and she went up agains a mailbox with snow on it.... I may be wrong but a mailbox isnt a self portrate... but I can say my daughter kicked that mailboxes butt!!!

I think sometimes people don't understand the types for the showdowns, it drives me nuts because its not that complicated! like a close up of my son going against full body shots of another kid in the close up category!  when i go through and vote if something is in the wrong category, i vote for the one that is right just because that mom was smart enough to follow instructions!

i noticed it too, many times i see pics of real beautiful baby, and they put the baby pic.up against some  trees, or object.what the heck why are they are in a category that for close up for baby pics? i have seen that and i say huh?? how about the crazy pics, of some space stuff, or drawings of what ever?? when this has come up i just hit any one of them just to get through to the real pictures to vote on.. i wonder at times, what the heck were they thinking?
