So, I only have a few minutes bc my son is about to go to sleep, but I'm hoping that writing will help me relieve some stress...My husband is at school for the military and has been gone for two weeks and my son totally knows when he's gone and knows when to act up. He definitely pushes his boundaries when daddy is not here and I feel like I should be able to do everything by myself but that I do a horrible job of it! I feel like I come home from work and just spend my afternoon in chaos until Phillip falls asleep and then I have to go to bed and wake up and start all over again. I know I'm probably just stressed and I know my pregnancy hormones don't help but I just feel overwhelmed! Errr! Alright, gotta get my monster to bed and try to clean up a little! Night!

Oh trust me, being a Marine wife I know exactly what you mean!!! Also my son doesn't take me seriously at all & it pisses me off that he listens to Daddy more. I hope everything will get better for you. Hope you can relax and get some rest!

I understand. My 2 year old is the exact same way. My husband has been over seas for 2 months and we have 5 more to go. My daughter doesnt like to listen me so i tell her i am going to call daddy and he is going to come home and get her if she doesnt listen. It works sometimes and when it doesnt i act like i am calling him and talking to him that one usually works (if they are young enough to buy it)! Otherwise i try my best just to pick my battles especially considering i have a 5 month old to deal with as well.
