The Rainbow

Ok, so the other day, I'm driving to work.  I am going over this bridge and when I look out over the water, I see this rainbow.  It is so beautiful and it makes me start to think about what might be at the end.  You know, just silly daydreaming. 

When I was little, I would've guessed things like the pot of gold that legends talk about, and of course, the leprechans!  But then I started to think of it as some sort of a symbol.  Because of recent events in my life, I have been pretty depressed.  Seeing this rainbow that morning, was to me, a sign of hope.  Or maybe change, or maybe God reminding me that He is still here watching over me.  I like to think that God will give me these little signs to make me stop and appreciate my life, the world, and all the beautiful things it has to offer. 

And coincidentally, the rainbow's end was right where the office is that my husband and I are attending counceling to work out our problems.  I have never before felt like I wanted to give up on us, but I have been lately, and maybe that was just the sign I needed to know that I was doing the right thing, right now.  No matter what the outcome is for us later.

I hope things look brighter for you!!!! I was thinking about the rainbow too....and many people don't know what a rainbow really means.....The very first rainbow was seen about Noah and his family got off the ark.....and the rainbow is to remind us that God will never destroy the earth again by a flood....Something to think about!

Did you know that in the bible, God sends a rainbow right after a long rain to cleanse all the bad that has happened.. it stands for a new beginning.. (((hugs))) my lady..

The rainbow represents God's promises and faithfulness.  I'm glad you got a glimpse of God, His way of letting you know things are going to be OK ;-)
