Bad news :(

I got a call from Chris yesterday around 3:50, which isn't normal. He told me he was coming home...I figured maybe they had a break down at the mill. Nope, he got laid off :( freaking figures! Both of us are very very upset. We don't know what we're going to do. Chris was on the phone all day yesterday calling just about every company around to see if they where hiring. He is expecting a call back today from JR Fabrication in New Portland. The owner is a family friend so hopefully he can work something out with Chris. Hes going to be filing his unemployment when he gets home from hanging drywall with my step dad. Then we are heading to Farmington to DHS and to a few places to fill out applications, then we are going to make a few calls for apartments in the area :( I'M SICK OF MOVING! I so don't want to move, but Chris would have to get a job making $15 or more an hour just to stay here and afford all our bills. :( And we all know that's not going to happen in Maine, especially since he doesn't specialize in anything except welding, which isn't a cash cow anyway, but it does pay a little better then most places. This sucks! I'm just happy it happened now when I'm only 3 months pregnant and not when I'm 8..that would be stressful. So our rent is paid until March, so we have until then to find another place, thankfully our landlords are going to let us out of our 1 year lease 5 months early :) Wish us luck today!
