Don't fly airtran

AirTran airlines blow big time. We were suppose to fly out Friday at 6AM, SO My husband went online to print out airline info on thrursday afternoon and it said that our flight was THURSDAY at 6am. So he gets on the phone with them and they are like, sorry you missed your flight nothin we can do. He says we didnt miss the flight when I talked to the lady on the phone she put it to friday am not thursday, you guys messed up. The airline said we can put you on the friday am flight but you will have to pay an extra $400. my husbandswas like no way am i paying YOU when YOU messed up. so he gets a manager and the manager says well i can put you on saturday afternoon flight for an extra $47. So it was either pay an extra $47 and go to Florida or not go and lose the $400 we already paid. So he said fine then asked to speak to someone else. The next person he got said they could put him on a thursday 530pm flight,(its now about 230pm thursday) so he says fine send me a confirmation number by email, the lady says ok then hangs up...so he gets the email and the email says saturday afternoon(what the heck, its suppose to say thursday at 530pm) now my husbands ticked. he calls back and ofcourse gets someone he hasnt spoken too so has to go through THE WHOLE THING again.(im pretty sure i saw smoke coming from his ears). mean while im trying to take of a sick 10 month old who just threw up. ok so finally we get on the thursday 530pm flight. although we paid for non-stop this flight has a stop in maryland but they said its just to pick people up we dont have to get off the plane..Ok so we get to maryland and they say we HAVE to get off the plane, how stupid these people are..then they say but you can leave your luggage.so thats what we do. then when we are off the plane some different person says you arent allowed to leave bags unattended. so my husband goes to the podium to see what he can do about his bags that are on the plane. while i walk around with my son to try and get him to sleep(its now8pm). as i round the corner i see my husband getting back on the plane(good thing i came around the corner or i wouldnt have known where he was) then they start loading the plane. what i didnt know is they wouldnt let him get back off the plane(what jerks). so almost everyone is on the plane and im just standing up front waiting for him to come off.(oh did i mention he has MY boarding pass, so i have no way of getting on) finally a lady says are you Jaime, you can get on. So i am  reliefed that my husband had the flight attended get a message to the front so i could get on but in the back of my mind im thinking, 'ok this lady just let me on the plane without asking for a boarding pass or id or anything she only asked my name and i said yeah thats me,,,hmmmm good way for a bad guy to get on with no boarding pass geesh. once we finally get to Florida the hotel we booked last second(cos we werent suppose to get there till friday but not its thrusday at 1030pm) was suppose to have a shuttle, we couldnt find it and everyone we asked never heard of the hotel. So we get in line to take a taxi and ask for a taxi with a carseat..we end up getting a taxi with a BOOSTER SEAT. good grief my baby isnt even 1 year yet, he cant use a booster seat. i put him in it anyway and put the shoulder strap around his back and hold him tight. it was a 5 min ride and cost us $20. so because we came a day early cos the airline messed up, we had to pay $47  extra for the flight, $20 for a taxi and $75 for hotel, so we had to pay an extra 142 cos airtran screwed up big time...so we get to the hotel and they say they have no reservation for us. now if i jump over the counter and kill this lady, can i at least get a bed to sleep on in my prison cell?:)  the lady said we do have rooms though so she puts us up. we finally get to sleep at 1am. The rest of the vacation went well. but i have three words for you. DONT FLY AIRTRAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't but insurance from esurance either- they messed up our start day (by 1 day) for our insurance- then back billed us over $300 for going w/o insurance (for 1 day between policies!!) WTF Anyways- sorry to hear of this- I know how difficult is to travel w/ little ones- esp flying and hotels...
