There is a show on TLC called pregnant man. Some of you might have caught a glimps of it already because it has been on more than once. I don't believe in this show at all. First of all this so called "man" was born a woman. Second, whatever you want to call this person man or woman still has her ovaries and everything to make a baby. So why would you want to call her a man if what she has done so far is take hormones to give her facial hair and all the things except for a penis that is able to function. To me, by definition "he"  is still a she because men never were suppose to make babies in the first place.

Yep. He took hormones that caused him to grow a small penis. So far, the only thing he has not gotten done is getting his vagina closed up. This is because his wife cannot carry a child.

I don't care how people view transgendered people. Fact is he identifies himself as male and I think we should all respect that.

I have no problem with transgender people. People will be who they want and no one can change that. I just see it as this person is still technically a she because a man was never suppose to bare a child.

I really don't think he ever meant to imply he was a medical marvel. He and his wife simply want to raise awareness for transgendered issues.

I have seen a few articles that portrayed the pregnancy as a medical marvel and I have a problem with that.

I don't think it's necessarily that people don't respect him. I think it's more they're upset at all the attention he is getting because he WAS born a she and therefore it's not really a medical marvel. It's just hype. Frankly once I learned he was a she the interest on the story was gone.
