I am so excited! After 4 years of living in San Angelo, David has finally agreed to move back to Wichita Falls! YAY!!!!! He recently lost his job and we've decided to switch roles. He wants to do the kids stuff- get them ready for school, pick them up, keep up with the house, etc- while I work. I completely don't mind working. In fact, I've been known to be a workaholic. I'll probably have to work two jobs to make anywhere near what he made but thats ok. At least I'll be a lot closer to our families so I'll get to see them much easier and more often.
For anyone wondering what happened to his job (it was an awesome one), he hit a school bus in his big truck(18 wheeler). Hit isn't really the right word. He looked up in time to see that he was too close and was going to hit it, so he swerved and only caught the back corner of the bus. It peeled back the front passenger side of the truck and the metal on the back left corner of the bus. No one was hurt. He said the kids didn't even know the bus got hit. Anyway, after two accident free years and a great record with customers, PFG let him go because he caused about $13,000.00 worth of damage. I feel reallybad for him because for once he had a job he truly liked.
Now, he is making a huge sacrifice for me by moving back to Wichita Falls. I know he really wants to stay here because he does have friends but I don't. I've been miserable here for the last two years. Well, not really miserable, but not happy either. I really need to think of something big to do for him to show how much I appreciate what he is doing for me.

Good Luck to you and your family. My hubby has trucking in his blood. He can drive just about anything and work on them, too. He has been a diesel mechanic as well as an owner/operator. I am thankful that he has decided to have a different kind of career for now. We need more money then trucking offers. I do wish you the best of luck looking for your career and God bless you and your family.
