Wow. This is actually a tough one. Since I am such a perfect driver (sarcasm included for free) most things other drivers do irritate me.
There's the One-Speeder, for example. No matter what the speed limit is, they drive one speed.....45. In the 55 zone they are driving 45. In the 35 zone they are driving 45. UGH!!
Then there's the Weaver. The one who is so busy adjusting the radio dial, eating, smacking their children, or whatever, they are weaving all over the road leaving you wondering if they are drunk or just inept.
Oh, then you have the Signal Optional Driver. You've been behind the ones who apparently didn't choose to have turn signals installed on their car, or maybe nobody ever showed them how to use one.
On the other hand you have the Perpetual Turn Signal Driver. You never know if they are actually going to be turning or what and when you finally decide maybe they're not and try to pass, THEN they decide it would be a good time to turn. Right in front of you.
Ahh....then there is the Fido-Hanging-Out-The-Window-Or-In-The-Bed-of-The-Pickup Driver. Those are especially sweet. I just love driving behind a truck with a dog (or more) in the bed of their pickup. For goodness sake--any sudden turn, or heaven forbid an accident, could not only send that dog to it's death, but also endanger other drivers as well. The hanging out the window irritates me as well. If you wouldn't let your child hang their head out the window, why do you think it's a good idea for a pet? Debris can get into their eyes causing damage, including blindness or worse.
But then you have my personal favorite. The I'm-So-Important-That-I-Can't-Pull-Over-To-Make-A-Phone-Call Driver. Yeah. Cell phone drivers definitely rank up there in my most irritating pet peeves. The only reason I would ever drive while talking on a cell phone would be if I felt unsafe (i.e. being pursued by another car and I needed to call for help or if an unmarked police car was attempting to pull me over). Other than that....there is NO call important enough to keep driving while talking, especially with children in the car. Not only do you take a little bit of quality time away from them by chattering on the phone with your buddies, but you also endanger their lives by being distracted.
.
Comments:
Those are good...I really hate the ones that just don't seem to know what a turn signal is! Annoys the crap out of me...or the ones that drive side by side going the same speed limit so you can pass them UGH!!! I am a speed racer...let me through LOL! I must admit, I am a cell phone talked while in the car. I'm only on the phone a few minutes, if that, but I do talk on it if I need to make a call or someone calls me. I have become a text monster on the phone...I hate talking on the phone anymore!

You shouldn't let your children's heads hang out the vehicle's windows? Hmm...lol I share all your peeves. :) How about the unnerving stuff that happens inside of your vehicle? The kid constantly kicking my seat, the insessant bickering, the "are we there yet?", the child that has to pee moments after you pull out of the drive...I could go on and on. lol
