Well, it has been a wonderful almost 2wks with my hubby. I love having him here, but its time for him to go again come saturday. I am having one of the worst Valentines days ever, but hey thats nothing new for me...I've always had bad Valentines days. I was so excited to see him again and now its almost over. I go back to feeling empty and lonely again. I dont want saturday to be here. That means reality is hitting again. It means 8more months w/o my hubby. THIS SUCKS. But, its life we chose and I will suck it up and deal w/ it. I head back to El Paso on Saturday too. We drop him at the Airport early enough in the morning I can make the 8hr trip to Texarkana and arrive at a decent time. Then the next day I'm thinking of going to Abilene and staying the night and making it a 3 day trip so I dont have to drive long distances w/ the kids again. By the time Sunday rolls around the kids and I will have been in FL, GA, TN, KY, AR, & TX in the past 1.5wks...lol. Talk about being on the move. I am looking forward to being back in my own home again. 2.5m w/o my own bed and living with family really isnt that great at all. It just sucks that he has to leave instead of go back with me. UGH. i want to cry so hard, but I know need to suck it up for the kids.
Disney was fun. We had a good time. The kids and Dennis loved seeing the characters (despite what he will tell you he had fun....I have proof). The character lunch was okay, but the kids were both tired and neither wanted to stop crying. We did Magic kingdom 2x, Animal Kingdom 1x, Hollywood Studios 2x, and Epcot 2x. I dont know what the kids favorite ride was, but I do know that I wish I had an Its A Small World ride in my house because that put Curtis to sleep both times we rode it. Corbin seemed to like the Haunted Mansion, and the Viking ride in Noway (Epcot) a lot...along w/ the Pirates of the Caribean and Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin. Dennis really liked the Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom (but that was the only good part of it) as did I. I also loved riding Splash Mountain again...hadnt done that in 10years or so. It was really COLD though wed and thursday...cold enough we bought jackets and GLOVES. It hit a record low supposidly there while we were there. We did participate in the Pin Trading thing there and that was cool. We have tons of Pins now. And our hotel (Shades of Green) was pretty nice though we didnt enjoy the buffett they offered on the meal plan. It was a nice hotel, but I think next time we are just going to try to get a room at a Value Resort from Disney. It just was not kid friendly (or well, the people werent). We ended up staying an extra night in Kissimmie at a choice hotel to extend our fun. That was Dennis's idea...so you can tell he had a ton of fun. I know he isnt ready either to head back to the desert yet either. He is enjoying spending time with the kids so much and I know it will break his heart to leave them again. Curtis wasnt sure about who Dennis was when we picked him up and now those 2 are virtually inseparable, so I know Curtis will be going through withdraws. Thats life I guess.
Corbin turned 3 on the 31st. He had a Hulk cake and Dinner w/ family at Casa Blanca here in TN. Lets just say between Christmas, Birthdays, and Disney I have like 3x as much as I came with...I am hoping I can get it all back...lol. The new car is good. It did really well on the trip to Florida and back. I'm taking it for an Oil change to be on the safeside today or tomorrow b4 we have a whole day of saying goodbye and then I take a 1300 mile trip. I have to say I like the Kia.
Well, I better run...tons to do today. have a great day.

Wow, sounds like you have a wonderful time. But it sucks that it has to end. I know how you feel. When hubby leaves to go back to IRAQ it sucks. I miss him, but I have (had) to move on. Just to keep the kiddos happy. Also all the traveling that you did, makes me miss my bed. My hubby's family is from Abliene. I don't like it there personally but hey that is his hometown. LOL. I hope for the best for you and your family. Snuggle into bed when you get home. And have a good cry. I know sometimes that works for me. Of course when the kiddos are sleeping. GOOD LUCK on the travel.
