Stupid Tree

We had a really bad storm blow across us night before last, as did pretty much all of Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, and surrounding states. We had some really strong wind and lots of rain. Well, about 2AM, during the worst of it, I heard this loud boom, followed by another loud boom, then the sound of glass breaking, all towards the back of our house, which is the part we don't use. Well, we went out the next morning after the storm had past and a HUGE limb, almost 2 feet in diameter fell on our house. It completely took out an add-on closet and broke a window. The limb crushed the walls of the closet about half way down the wall. We don't know if it damaged the roof on the room adjacent to the closet. DH is calling the insurance company today.

It was no biggie... You know no one goes back there, ever! She had no clue it happened, neither did Mike. It was 2 AM. They were out. They didn't even know it was storming. She still doesn't know it happened. She saw one end of the limb laying on the ground and said something about it, but she didn't see the house yet. She said that we were going to have to get it cleaned up before someone trips over it! She's so cute!

Oh man that sucks... hopefully you can get it fixed up before another storm rolls threw.
