Holden's Heroes for Autism Speaks

As some of you may know, my son Holden, was diagnosed with high functioning Autism in November 2008. Long before he was diagnosed, we made it our mission to do everything we could for the cause, but now it is even more important for us. Since we have discovered our son's Autism we have been faced everyday with situations where friends and family "just didn't know" or "had no idea". There have even been surpirses for us and that is why I do my best everyday to raise awareness. We started our team Holden's Heroes in support of our son for Autism Speaks. This is great!  Raising awareness is so important.  My son and I participated in an Autism Walk fundraiser last September and had a blast.  It was so inspiring to see all those people there joining in on cause that is so important especially now with it being on the rise.
