I am so proud of my husband. He has been working so hard for all of us and doesn't complain, but rather I can see how much he enjoys it. Well, he has now been called in a slightly different direction for a different purpose, but ultimately a far grander purpose. When he heard our pastor, Jonathan Walker, talking about a missions trip to India to help rebuilt a village that had been burned down, Martin new God was calling him to put aside his own ambitions and take time off of work (which we cannot afford logically) and to use his talents and abililties for His Kingdom. It will be a long few weeks for me as I will not be able to communicate with him while he is there, but I am so honored and humbled that the Lord would choose us, especially my husband, for something beyond us. We do not benefit from this as far as monetary compensation or any such thing, but it's for the love of our lord, Jesus Christ, that we will sacrifice and fore go a much needed paycheck. The Lord provides for us in unexpected ways and I have no doubt that our needs will be met.

This trip will take place March 1st and costs $3200 for each person for the whole trip. We have managed to raise only a little for Martin's part and would like to ask that if anyone feels led to help sponsor this trip that we would be truly blessed. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the Kingdom of God and to give a little of yourself. Please contact us if you would like to give (which is tax deductable) so we can give you our address and answer any questions. The checks can be made out to Church on the Rock Homer (COTRH) and on the memo line simply put India Trip. But more than anything we would ask for your prayers that all would go well with the flight and with the construction in India. We are so excited to share this with you and we will let you know how the trip went when Martin comes back.

The Lord has brought Martin out of a broken, dark life that he was leading as a young man into a life filled with healing, wholeness, forgiveness, and light which was only made possible by the work on the cross. God has truly blessed us and as a result we are able to bless others. Thank you for taking the time to read this and God bless you.
