It's Been A While!

So it's been a while since I've logged in to this account and I have to say I'm very happy to be back! When I logged in all of my profile information said I was still pregnant and obviously, we hadn't been married yet! We FINALLY tied the knot on July 26, 2008!! It was an incredible day for us, but really nothing has changed much since the wedding! Eliana turned 1 on May 2....which is the same day we closed on our house and were handed the keys!! We spent the whole week ripping out carpet, painting, and cleaning! We moved in May 10 and had a first bday for Ellie on May 17 with 65 people! It was CRAZY!! Then the following weekend, May 24 was my bridal shower! Crazy I know....but someone had to do it! Since the wedding....I pretty much do....nothing! I'm a stay at home mom and I'm dying to get back to school at Buffalo State! I left after I had Ellie and I've been sitting on the damn wait list at their day care center! Still nothing!!! So I've asked my mom to watch Ellie on days that Steve's gone to work....hopefully I can get back in there for the Fall, but I'm planning on taking a summer course or two! The next few weeks will be busy because with our tax money we've decided to remodel our hideous turquoise bathroom!! If you saw my kitchen, you'd wonder why on earth the kitchen wasn't the priority....because it AWFUL!!! It looks like the '70s threw up all over the place! However, we'd need about $10,000 to do that project and we're still paying off our wedding! With one income....things are tight! So the bathroom is all we can afford for now! Steve is starting his own business, so if you know anyone who needs tile installed, please let me know! Also, my bro in law just started his business of building geothermic homes! So if you know anyone who wants something like that done....again, let me know! For the most part, I'm home all the time and always busy! But I will ALWAYS make time for my friends....which is more than I can say for them lately! Oh well, people get busy and I understand! So I guess I'm done venting for now! I hope to get to know all of you better; now that I actually have time! :)
