Ok, so I have a few things to brag about, so bear with me!!
First, my daughter is so amazing! She is 2 yo going on 25. She is using full sentences that are very clear and easy to understand. She will sit and "read" by herself and, when I ask, she will bring me a book so we can read together. She went looking for a specific book the other week. She is very independent and will sit for hours playing by herself. She's very helpful when I ask her to get something or to help me clean. She is sitting on the couch right now coloring and singing. And, she will sit there and sing her ABCs, Sunshine, and My Bonnie. I usually change the name in that song to Alli (her name) and she loves it! She's getting so big so fast and I swear it feels like just yesterday she was coming home from the hospital. I look at her baby pictures and can't believe how much she's grown. She will carry on a conversation over the phone with her daddy and describes what she sees. She is my pride and joy. I feel really guilty about having a baby right now because she's been my whole world for over two years now! I don't want our relationship to change. Luckily, she's been really good about my pregnancy. She talks to her baby brother and even says that her baby brother is in her belly! LOL!! She's amazingly smart and the best child I could have ever have hoped for! I am incredibly lucky to have her in my life. She was my saving grace and I know that now. Who knows what type of person I would have become without her. For her birthday in August, I am either gonna get her into gymnastics or dance. I am not sure which, though. Any thoughts?
And, I have to brag about my nephew, Tyler. He's 6yo and is 5th in his GRADE in math and 3rd in his grade for everything else!!! He's so smart and it amazes me sometimes. He and Alli are a lot alike, so I hope she turns out like him. He is scoring off the charts on his standardized tests and, next year, he will be put into a gifted class. Basically, he will be in his regular classes, but get taken to another class for extra activities! I am so proud of him! And, he got a keyboarding award! How amazing is that?! He is really interested in science and how/why things work/occur. He always has a new book from the library. I am just so amazed by everything he is doing! He's been on medications to help settle him down because he has ADHD and, since then, he has been a changed lil' man. His teachers were even surprised by how much he's changed. His main teacher said that he is probably the best student/most gifted student she's ever taught! But, a few weeks ago, he started acting depressed. We couldn't figure out what was wrong, we just figured he was sick or tired. Come to find out, he'd had a girlfriend and she moved away. Before she moved, they would wait for the other to come in and, when they did, their faces would light up and you could see how happy they were. But, he never told any of us. So, for Valentine's Day, his teacher was going to send some stuff to her and asked if he would like to send her something. My sister took him to the store and he picked out a teddy bear, a card, and some chocolate for her. And, he sent a picture of himself to her. Luckily, she only moved a few miles from his other grandparents, so they are going to get together soon. And, he keeps a picture of her by his bed!! It's so sweet! I can't believe how fast my lil' man is growing!!
And, yesterday, my sister and I went to WalMart so I could get out of the house for a little bit. Well, she ended up buying me two pairs of maternity pants and a shirt! I've been trying to stuff myself into clothes that don't fit because I didn't have the money to clothes. I had some shirts, but nothing for bottoms! She is amazing! I love her to death and am so happy that she did that! My family has been so good to me. They were unhappy when I got pregnant because they feel I have wasted my potential, but I am still planning on going back to school. And, everyone is really excited now! I am so lucky!! Ok, I just had to brag a bit. Sorry it's so long, but thanks for reading!!

Is there a trick to this??

That's amazing! And your daughter is adorable! My neice has been extremely talented since she was your daughter's age. She's 12 now. She can draw just as good as an experienced artist, she gets really good grades in school, she's really pretty (LOL), and she wrote an essay a year ago and it got published in her school's newspaper! Now she's kind of a brat, but she's still just as talented. I'm so proud of her!
