Last Night

I feel so good right now.  It's really hard for me to put how I feel into words.  Last night was just beyond explanation.  I am smiling right now.  I'll try to explain it to you....

My SO wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day early since he has to go to work tonight. 

He made me sit downstairs until he got everything ready.  He was so giddy LOL  I was down stairs for like 20 minutes.  Finally he called me up.

The stairs were covered with rose petals.  They smelled so good! 

They led to the room, where there was a bouquet of roses on the bed with a bag from VS.  More rose petals were scattered everywhere, leading to the bathroom, where he'd run me a bath. There were rose petals in the water, too.  In the VS bag, there was a gorgeous nightie and some other goodies:  Godiva chocolates, more VS lingere, cherry blossom lotion and fragrence and a candle. He lit the candle and put it by the tub.  I had a nice long soak in the wonderfully scented water and ate the chocolate. I lotioned up, put on my lingere and we talked and listened to music for a while.  Then Tris woke up.  We got him back to sleep.

I am sure you can guess how the rest of the evening went.  The smell of roses makes me tingly!  It was the most wonderfully special and romantic Valentine's Day I've ever had and I am so happy!
