I love today. Tomorrow is not promised. And I am not worried about yesterday. I'm stopping the madness- from the crazy moments of life and taking a moment to be thankful.
- I love my relationship with my Father in Heaven through his son Jesus Christ.
- I love my son, my parents and family.
- I love my friends and my haters.
- I love my home and my education.
- I love to help people, no matter their background.
- I love my everyday experiences in life. What we see as "bad", God meant for "good." Great read for believers "God Meant it For Good"
I love having the ability to love those who don't agree with me and having the ability to appreciate the small things in life. I love my little RoRo (2000 Toyota Corolla) because it gets me where I need to go. I love having hot water. I love having water period. So many people do not have clean water and warm beds to sleep in. A great lesson I have learned is: Agree to Disagree. Dont' waist time entertaining topics and people that do not value your beliefs. Agree to disagree and move on!
I strongly believe that hardship breathes life into strength and wisdom- a noble character. I find it sad when people get so offended by others. As people (believers or not) we should take a moment to realize that we have no idea where someone came from or what they are going through right now at this exact moment. I know my intentions are to only help others and not to harm them (Jeremiah 29:11). So it can be a little irritating when someone tries to tell me what to do. I am grown and I only go by what I know. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you don't like something then speak on it in a classy respectable way. Don't be rude about it. I keep seeing all these groups on here that are being created because people are bashing one another and it is really sad. I mean if you do not want religion and politcs and abortion and this and that in your group put it in the guidelines and make sure you name your group properly. I rarely touch sensitive topics in the groups I am in, but I will not (and I repeat will not) be told that I cannot talk about God. When we make these group guidelines and restrictions we are hindering one's right to freedom of expression.
In conclusion, forget about all the drama, all the madness and just take a breather and be grateful for what you have. Let's stop focusing on the negative and focus on the positive. I'm sure that CafeMom was put here for us Mama's to enjoy eachother and our common interests. We are all tied together as mothers. As a mother it is our duty to behave as valuable models in our home, schools, offices and communities.
Much love to you all (even if you don't like what I had to say. Oh,well, this is my page and my journal...move on to what you like!)
