My Valentines Day plans!!

Being in the light of my husband on the brink of unemployment and how bummed he is I decided to cheer him up. So here's my plan... I've been majorly slacking on the upkeep of the second floor(mostly putting laundry away). So I'm going to head upstairs and clean like a mad woman! Then I'm going to shower and get me and the kids ready. We're going to decorate some hearts and color my husband pictures. They are going to be in their valentines day shirts and we're going to hang all our drawings up. I'm going to make heart shaped brownies and heart shaped cookies. Make dinner...we're all going to eat without watching the tv. Then we're going to watch a movie together as a family. Put the kids to be and I'm going to do whatever hubby wants--whether it be play a video game together...lay in bed and catch up on our shows we missed due to the power outage from Wednesday's storm... whatever. He's really bummed and he feels horrible he can't even buy my some flowers, but I want him to know that no matter what I love him and am so thankful for him! Hope he knows by the end of the day:):)!!!

So everyone out there so bent on getting material things or that expensive piece of jewelry...take time to sit back and think how good you've got it right now and remember that it's the little things that count! Never take them forgranted.

 

I'll explain more about what happend to his job later.

yep hubby is actually laid off right now until baby gets here.  so he won't be getting me anything that i know of and i prefer it that way.  we NEED extra money i don't NEED that extra chocolate.  sounds like a good idea what your doing Happy V-Day mom.
