I comparison shop a lot and use cupons but the biggest money saver for me was getting rid of cable TV

If you have credit cards, call them and ask them if they can give you a better interest rate.  If your payment history is good, they often do this.

Oh, I submitted that too soon.

Also:  use left overs, shut off as many lights and appliances as possible, cancel your newspaper and read it on line instead, evaluate your cell phone usage and see if you can drop down to a cheaper plan, you can save money not using paper plates, cups, napkins (if you have a good supply of cloth) paper towels, etc.   Use vinegar and water solution instead of fancy cleaners.

I always look for sales at the grocery store.  Where I live we have a store that does alot of BOGO (Buy One Get One Free).  So, when it's something good I will stock up on it, but not too much.  Today for instance I bought fish (BOGO) and saved $7.43.  A frozen dinner mean BOGO $5.99.  Cereal, meat was on sale for $3.00 off a lb.  It adds up.  And, I like to try new items, so it's the perfect opportunity.

thanks for the good advice  [grage sales& yard sale} is my best  way that is were i get school close  got to love these  yard sale
