on april 17, 2007, my husband made dinner for the kids, took them out for ice cream, bathed them, read stories, and put them to bed without any help from me!  i got to watch an entire episode of law & order.  i hear there's a first for everything...

Apr. 20, 2007 at 3:29 PM  I get that every mothers day. my hubby tells them as far as they are conserned mommy is not here.My mother died 9 yrs ago so we dont do anything special.But I do lay around all day ,watching tv and doing whatever.But let me tell you by 12am that night mommy is back in charge.LOL I love the day to myself but usually I have to do a good cleaning job the next day cuz well I guess I could say he tries .lmao lmao i hope you enjoyed yourself.lol

no secret just made it clear I do not want him spending money on me for mothers day (dont always have the extra cash).So one year he asked well then what do you want then.( well I had such a bad day and just wanted to be alone) and said so.So that mothers day started the tradition and I love it.One day a year when I know I do not have to settle an arguement between children,I can actually watch a whole tv program or movie  so no present  Im not complaining.  I so look forward to that day .
